Sandy Cove is blessed with a dedicated team that not only serves through their work but also supports the ministry financially. Longtime employee Sean Ponte shares why giving back to Sandy Cove’s mission is important to him.
I believe in the mission that is Sandy Cove.
I believe that what this space offers is special.
I believe that there is room at the table for everyone. If Sandy Cove draws people closer to that table, I want to be a part of that.
I give because of Operation Oasis and the families who have been able to reconnect after deployment.
Single parents who during the summer get together and have space to share their experiences and build relationships.
Church Pastors who tell me, “I brought my nephew with me, because he needs to be away from home and around men of God.”
Julie Lee who sees this place as her little slice of heaven and wanted to be the first one in the door when we reopened.
Groups who have people show up and decide to journey towards Jesus and make a choice to be baptized in our pool.
Kids who go to Club Cove and learn songs about their little light shining.
Widows who have built communities in the hardest of times.
And that’s just a few of the reasons…
Why do I give to Sandy Cove?
For them.
