Your group doesn't have to stay overnight in our Chesapeake Lodge to get the full benefits of our group package. If they prefer a more outdoorsy experience, our cabins located in the Pioneer Campground and RV Park are a great option.
Pamper your family with a log cabin stay! It's a great opportunity to allow the kids more space - both inside the cabin and outside in the great outdoors. You can plan your own camping getaway or choose a log cabin as a lodging option when attending a Sandy Cove event.

Most of our Log Cabins measure 27′ x 14’7″, with a 6′ porch. One handicap-accessible cabin is available. There is a set of bunk beds in one room, a living area with a futon, a separate bedroom with a double bed and a loft with 2 single beds. Each cabin sleeps a maximum of 8 people (that’s putting 2 people on a futon so they should be little ones!) and includes a large full bathroom. Each has A/C and heat, and a kitchen unit with a refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner stove, microwave, sink and table with 4 chairs. All linens are included. Kitchen supplies are provided. Charcoal grill and picnic table are available on site.
We really do mean RUSTIC. It's a step up from bringing a tent!
Our original rustic cabins are air-conditioned and can sleep a maximum of 6 people and include a very small bathroom (toilet, shower stall, wash basin). One room has a queen bed; the other room has 2 sets of bunk beds. No linens, kitchen facilities or housekeeping services are provided. Charcoal grill, fire ring, and picnic table are available on site.
The rustic cabins were a perfect fit for me, my wife, and our two small children! Peters Family, 4th of July Weekend
We enjoy the economical option to staying in the Rustic Cabins which have our ‘necessary conveniences’ of a shower, bathroom, and air conditioning. It is close enough to bike ride or walk to the main Sandy Cove campus. Thank you for your continued ministry – we have enjoyed our stay. See you next year! Baird Family
Our family stayed in two log cabins and reserved the screen pavilion for get-togethers. There was so much for the kids to do! The most enjoyable part was to be able to have the whole family stay together. Asper Family
