About the Camp

Every day at The Marsh is filled with finding new friends, learning about God’s amazing love, discovering new interests and playing until worn out. 

• Our programs are designed for children ages 4 to 12.
• Special program with limited registration for children ages 13 and 14.
• Campers of all ages are welcome during all weeks!
• Campers are assigned a small group (based on age) and counselors stay with their group for the week.
• The Marsh is open 10 weeks in 2023, June 12 to August 18, Monday - Friday.
• We provide lunch and a snack each day.
• Wacky Wednesdays! A giant inflatable waterslide, pool games, and lots of fun.
• Staff are carefully chosen on the basis of their experience, their education, and a demonstrated interest in working with young people.

Accredited to Demonstrate Camping Excellence

The Marsh was established in 2001 and is founded on a tradition of excellence in camping begun at Sandy Cove Ministries in 1946. Our accreditation by the American Camp Association (ACA) and membership with the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA) demonstrates our commitment to providing quality programs for your child. All children are welcome to attend regardless of race, religion or national origin.



The Marsh is located in North East, Maryland and as an outreach of Sandy Cove Ministries shares their 200+ acres of waterfront property. This includes the use of Nielsen Lodge, Cattail Café, Palmer Auditorium, outdoor swimming pools, playgrounds, miniature golf course, sand volleyball courts, athletic fields, archery range, nature trails, marina and more.

At The Marsh, children are grouped by age for a dynamic, fun-filled week in our non-profit, non-denominational Christian day camp. The Marsh is a place where every day is filled with making new friends, learning about God’s amazing love, discovering new interests and playing until they are worn out! From fun activities to creative adventures, Bible teaching to unique games, campers are sure to have a blast and grow in their relationship with Christ!
