Good news! Following the CDC and state of Maryland guidelines, Sandy Cove is reopening June 19, 2020 for a summer of Power Boost Getaways.
Your family will stay in the Chesapeake Lodge, with hotel-type accommodations, as well as dinner, breakfast and lunch for each night booked, served “take-out” style. We'll have outside dining options for your enjoyment - tents and tables. And feel free to bring a blanket for your own picnic on the bluff!
You will be surrounded by 220 beautiful acres of God’s creation, (which helps with social distancing!) and some amazing sunsets across the Chesapeake Bay (almost) every night!
Come ready to play outside with some of the staffed activities below we will be providing – or do your own thing at the frisbee golf course, tennis courts, soccer and softball fields, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts. We also have a way to sign up for a free license to fish from the pier.
There will be opportunities for “pay to play” pontoon cruises, and tubing behind a boat, as well as the craft shop. And we will provide some options for spiritual encouragement too, such as family devotions digitally accessible.
The main pool will be open each afternoon Mon – Sat, and we are asking that you bring your own pool towels this year. Click the link to read more about other adjustments necessary in response to COVID 19.
Then make plans to join us for some fun in the sun, and good relaxation this summer!
Rather stay in the campground without any meals? Normal nightly rates apply.
Or fill out this form to get your reservation started and we'll get back to you!
We want you to come to Sandy Cove healthy and stay healthy, which will require all of us working together and making some adjustments. Some of this includes:
Please take time to CLICK HERE and read through the specifics on what we will do, and what we are asking you to do in response to the threat of COVID-19 and the desire for us all to be healthy.
If you are uncomfortable for any reason with these things, or unable to participate in any of the expectations we are asking of the community, we ask that you wait to attend until a time when fewer restrictions may be required.
But if you have read through it and agree that we can make it work together (but apart) then we hope you will think about joining us.
