    TALK

Each talk is designed to provide historical context, lexical scholarship, and theological understanding to the Biblical text. Understanding the scriptures yields wisdom and offers practical application in living out the truths of God’s Word.

    WORSHIP

Paul the apostle enjoined us to “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.” (Colossians 3:16) When we sing and make music together, we become a living parable of the Body of Christ, the Temple made of Living Stones, fitted together and founded upon the Cornerstone, Our Lord.

Digging deep into God’s word, employs our intellect, our minds. Biblical portrayals and discussion enable us to interact with each other, employing our souls and strength. Worship rounds this experience by intentionally surrendering our spirits to God’s Spirit, pouring out our love for Him and receiving His love for us. In this way, we will have loved God with all our minds, hearts, souls, and strength, and we will have loved each other as we love ourselves.
