Your role is not for the faint of heart, and we know it is likely that you're stretched thin as you toggle back and forth between the needs of your family and your church. That's why we designed this special program event just for you. Join us for this semi-directed retreat with the goal of providing space for respite, spending time alone with God, and short programmed sessions together.
This Retreat is for senior pastors' wives, and there will be opportunities for you to connect with others in your role.
Jesus encouraged: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30, NIV)
Jesus modeled for us the need to take time away from ministry to pray and be by one's self (Mark 6:45-46 and John 6:15).
