Vicki Heath, and her pastor husband Robin, have been through fire and flood, survived worship wars, staff immorality, power struggles, gossip, family criticisms, and now they are up to their armpits in a new church plant on Edisto Island, SC.
Vicki learned early that a minister’s wife can’t be faint of heart. She grew up in a military family of high morals but attending church was never a part of her life until her best friend led her to Christ. When she married Robin and became a pastor’s wife, she’d had no experience about church etiquette or role models of how a pastor’s wife should act. Vicki candidly shares delightful church faux pas she committed those first few years. Now Robin and Vicki have served three churches in 40 years.
Vicki is also the National Director of the faith-based wellness ministry, First Place For Health. She is a reluctant author of two books, Don't Quit Get Fit and Wellness Journey of a Lifetime, and is a nationally known speaker. She holds certifications with American Council on Exercise and Body & Soul Fitness. She dances, jumps, and limps her way to health as she leads exercises classes in her community. She strives to bring others into the Kingdom through her example of a radical but humble devoted follower of Christ. She and her husband, Rob, have four grown children and six grandchildren.
