Jan de Chambrier is an ordained minister who presently serves with her husband, Philippe, on the leadership team of Missional International Church Network as prayer ambassador and coordinator of the Ambassadorial Prayer Team. Together, they travel to the nations to teach and preach on healing prayer and restoration. As founder of the CHP (Christian Healing Prayer) ministry in Houston-area hospitals, Jan has trained and led teams of intercessors to pray with patients and their families, doctors, nurses, and staff members in five major hospitals in the greater Houston area. Concurrent with that, she served as a trained lay chaplain in three of those hospitals.
In her first career as a professional musician, Jan served on the faculty of the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University for 15 years until the Lord called her into full-time ministry in 2011. She has been a global leader with ILI (International Leadership Institute) as well as the director of international healing centers for Healing Tree International. Active members of The Crossing Church in The Woodlands, Texas, Jan and her husband teach on healing prayer and participate in the ministry of Freedom Prayer.
Jan is the author of several books, including Glimpses: Two Stories of Hope and Healing; Greater Things than These: Practicing What Jesus Preached; and Daughtering: Helping Loved Ones Finish Well.
To restore her soul, she loves to play the piano, paint with acrylics, cook, hike, and bike.
