I’ve been there. I know what it feels like when food runs your life. I know the feeling of failure. I never thought I’d see the day when I could say that food no longer has any hold on my life. But that day has come. Several years ago, I simply found that God had healed the stronghold that food had become in my life. For a while, I couldn’t explain it. It just was so. But with some years to process the changes, I believe I can now share with you the strategy God used to set me free. It’s not that I finally found a diet that I want you to go on. It’s not that I finally found the secret to exercising self control. The key to my healing is not in controlling my behavior, but in finding a freedom within that changed my behavior.
