Dr. Jeff Vogan served as Director of Ministries at Sandy Cove from 1997-2004, but first came as a summer staff kid in the mid 70s and worked most summers through the 90s. His first job was activities assistant to Jim Brady, later music librarian for Neil Fichthorn, trumpeter, lifeguard, pool and waterfront director, brass director, and soloist.
He is currently the Director of Worship at McLean Presbyterian Church, a 2000-member multisite congregation in Northern Virginia.
Jeff holds a BA in music education from Houghton College, an MA in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Worship Studies degree from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. He’s married to Debbie, his college sweetheart and singing partner, and they have four adult children, two children-in-law, and one granddaughter.
