Caregivers Retreat is an opportunity to take time alone, connect with others walking a similar path, and gain insight into your journey, in a confidential, safe atmosphere. This directed retreat will respect your time for personal reflections while providing short "directed" times together to be strengthened through encouragement and shared experiences. This program is open to both women and men.
Caregiving is a ministry, whether in a professional role, or taking care of loved ones in-home. We are, therefore, encouraged by Jesus' example to take time away from ministry to pray and be by oneself.
You need others in the journey of caregiving. Moses stood in encouragement to Joshua during a battle. When Moses' "hands became heavy" Aaron and Hur gave needed support for the battles continued success.
Besides the short sessions of "directed time" you will have ample time to rest and relax - whether that involves finding a seat overlooking the beauty of the bay, or enjoying some of the activities available on site and in the local community. If you'd like to enjoy our enclosed sports pool and hot tub, don't forget to pack your modest, one piece swim suit!
