Sandy Cove is serenely situated halfway between Baltimore and Philadelphia near the town of North East, Maryland, just 10 minutes south of I-95, and 1 hour south of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, via Route 272.
Please follow these alternate directions:
From I-95 (a toll road), take Maryland Exit 100 (northbound) or 100A (southbound), onto Route 272 South for approximately three miles. Turn left onto Route 40 (Pulaski Highway, at the McDonalds) and proceed one mile. Turn right onto Mechanics Valley Road (at Royal Farms). Drive approximately three quarters of a mile until you reach a T intersection. Turn right onto Old Philadelphia Rd (Route 7). At the second stoplight (less than ½ mile), turn left onto Main Street – the one way road through downtown North East. You have now bypassed the closed bridge! About three miles past the quaint downtown district, you’ll see Sandy Cove’s large sign on the right.
