Indoor and Outdoor Pools and Hot Tub

The Main Pool Complex offers an outdoor pool with diving area and a wading pool only 18 inches deep with sprinklers, both with open hours Memorial Day through Labor Day. Our enclosed sports pool and hot tub are open year round and offer water volleyball or basketball. Modest swimsuits are required for adults and children (one-piece for girls of all ages, baggy shorts for men and boys).

In the summer, the bathhouse with restrooms, showers and changing areas is available. Our pools are a “water-only-zone” because state regulations require there to be no food or drinks (which includes gum, candy, soda, etc.) in the pool area.

Ask about specific open pool hours when you arrive. You must be 15 years old to use the hot tub.

Available when you want to play!

Tennis Courts, Softball Field, Soccer Field, Indoor and Outdoor Basketball, Indoor and Sand Volleyball, Shuffleboard, Mini Golf, Disc (Frisbee) Golf, Walking Path, Board Games, Fishing (license required), Ping Pong, Pool Tables, Air Hockey, and Playgrounds.

Health & Fitness

Our fitness center features weight machines, treadmill, elliptical machine and bikes. There is a TV with DIRECTV and a DVD player—bring your own exercise DVDs. The fitness room is accessible 24 hours a day with the use of your room key. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

The Big Swing

The Big Swing is really pretty simple… You are harnessed up and clipped in to the swing cable, and then (temporarily) clipped to the haul rope. The group on the ground pulls the rope and you are towed up into the air. Somewhere around 30 feet up, you pull the pin and SWING! It is one of those activities that does not require all that much talent, but it is a screamer!

The Big Swing is open during Summer Family Camp, 2-4 pm each Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, or by pre-arrangement for groups.

Participants must be at least 12 years old and have a signed waiver.

Zip Lines

Put your harness on, climb up the pole and take a flying leap off our 42-foot tall platform, and let gravity send you rushing down the 420’ cable. Of course you are hooked in safely at all times, but that first step still seems like a doozy!

The Zip Lines are open during Summer Family Camp or by pre-arrangement for groups.

Participants must be at least 12 years old and have a signed waiver.

Climbing Wall

A long-time favorite at Sandy Cove, our 30-foot tall, 40-foot wide rock climbing wall is located in the Palmer Connect-itorium. There are five climbs on the rock wall, with multiple routes on each, as well as a variety of features.

The Rock Wall is open during Summer Family Camp, 7-9 pm each Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, or by pre-arrangement for groups.

Participants must be at least 8 years old and have a signed waiver.

We have been blessed with a great spot on the water that affords us scenic views and fun activities in season. At our marina we launch canoes, kayaks and paddleboats for our overnight guests to use at no extra cost.

We have two inboard ski boats that can pull skiers, tubers, or the 8 – man “wavecutter.” You may make advance arrangements for these activities in season – including the boat, driver, and equipment, for an hourly rate of $90.

Guests may also bring their own boats to use here, though our marina is rather shallow, and tidal as well. Calling ahead to make sure your boat will work OK here is a good idea.

The Marina is open Mon – Sat, 10 – 5 pm, mid-June through mid-August. During the first two weeks of June and the last two weeks of August, the marina is open on Saturdays or by pre-arrangement for groups.

Participants must have a signed waiver and we ask that adults supervise those under 15 years of age.

Archery Tag

Archery TagArchery Tag® is played similar to dodgeball or paintball but with bows and patented foam-tipped arrows. This exciting, action-packed game offers the ultimate family-friendly experience that engages everyone. Participants attempt to tag members of the opposite team by hitting them with the foam-tipped arrows. Don’t miss out on Tag…the game you never outgrow!

Archery Tag is available during Summer Family Camp or by pre-arrangement for groups.
