Dear Sisters and Friends,
Thanks for stopping by to see the Sandy Cove Women’s Events on our calendar. I know you have many choices on how you can invest your time!
Recently someone asked me, “Which would be better for me to attend… a one day women’s event simulcast at my church of a popular speaker? …or a Sandy Cove Women’s Weekend?” And my answer was, “They are two completely different experiences!”
The choice requires deciding what you need most in life right now. Do you need time and space away from your daily routine? Would you like to really connect with some friends? Picture yourself at meal times laughing (or maybe crying) with friends, getting up from the table, and walking away from the leftovers and dirty dishes! How does that feel? How about the opportunity to be taught from God’s Word with time afterwards to ask questions and discuss ideas with a small group? Would you like to take a walk in the woods, sit by the water and listen for God, or take a nap? These are just some of the possibilities during a Sandy Cove Women’s Weekend! What do you need most in your life right now?
Sandy Cove is here as a haven for you — a place where you can connect with God and others in a serene setting perfect for relaxation, renewal and reflection. We are passionate about experiencing the fullness of life Jesus promised. At some point during your stay, I hope you’ll take a slow deep breath… exhale… and say, “This is just what I need!”
As always, your prayers, comments and suggestions are welcome.
