    Morning Speaker: Kevin A. Thompson

I’m Kevin A. Thompson. The A stands for Allen. I use it because there are a million Kevin Thompson’s spread across the internet.

Whenever I think about my life, I consider three major roles: husband/father, communicator, and pastor.

Jenny and I were married in 2000 and have two children, Ella and Silas.

I’m an author, writer, and speaker. From marriage or parenting conferences to corporate events to speaking in churches, I love the eye-to-eye connection which speaking provides. I write about life, leadership, marriage, and parenting (specifically parenting a child with special needs.)

I am the Lead Pastor of Community Bible Church, a multi-site church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. As a pastor, I interact with individuals and families on the happiest and the most tragic days of their lives. We work through marriage and family issues, personal finance, leadership, work-related difficulties, grief, parenting, and every major issue which a person might face.

    Crosswalk: Brad Robertson

Brad RobertsonBrad is a Dad, Dude, & Disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born & raised right around the corner in Rising Sun, MD (you won't go there unless you're lost!) Brad met his beautiful bride, Jaime, while studying Biblical Studies at Liberty University. Brad & Jaime have been a part of the Sandy Cove family since 2004 serving @ The Marsh Day Camp. So you know they're 'Toadally Awesome!' They now have 3 amazing kiddos... Annabelle (The fierce fishing woman), Elli (The jokester), & Titus (The Titan). In Brad's free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, and biking in the outdoors. His favorite hobby is grooming his beard and pretending to be a lumberjack. He's been an educator to students with special needs and actively involved in youth ministry for over 15 years. Brad is currently the Connections Pastor at Lynchburg First Church of the Nazarene where he is launching a Celebrate Recovery program. Brad hopes to one day open CR teen groups to help them deal with their hurts, habits, & hang-ups in a safe environment.
