    About Lynda Randle

    Gospel Musical Artist

Born and raised in the inner city of Washington, D.C, gospel music artist, Lynda Randle is a vocal powerhouse. The Dove Award winner’s deep, earthy tones echo the traditions of musical giants such as Mahalia Jackson and Ethel Waters. Although raised in a Christian home, Lynda experienced a tumultuous and painful childhood, and music became a way out of the chaos and heartache. As an artist, Lynda’s rich and powerful voice is matched only by a desire to see God’s potential unleaded in her life, and in the lives of those around her. She has had the honor of performing across the globe, and sharing the stage with some of the most influential leaders of this generation, such as Rev. Billy Graham, Dr. Jerry Falwell, Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Charles Stanley, and Dr. Robert Schuller.

The gospel artist has carried the message of Christ into NBA All-Star Game chapel services, MLB and NFL games, as well as making a number of appearances with her brother, Michael Tait (DC Talk, The Newsboys). Lynda is perhaps most well known as a long-time favorite on the Gaither Homecoming Friends stage, singing her signature song, ‘God On The Mountain.’ Lynda’s rendition of the classic has reached over 17 millions views on Youtube, spawning a documentary and best-selling book of the same name. While Lynda’s music ministry is expansive, she is also an author, speaker, mentor, and the founder of her own women’s conference, ‘Woman After God’s Own Heart.’

Furthermore, Lynda’s most cherished role is that of a wife and mother. Her husband, Michael Randle, is the lead pastor at Mosaic Bible Fellowship, a new church he planted in Kansas City, MO, and together, they are parents to two daughters, Patience (27) and Joy (21). It is Lynda’s prayer that no matter where she is, or who she meets, they will come away having experienced a refreshing encounter of the soul that lingers on long after the last note has been carried away, and hearts will be imparted with the everlasting truth of God’s love.
