Is Sandy Cove Right for Your Group?

Groups of 30 to 720 all tell us the same thing: they love Sandy Cove! We invite you to hold your retreat here on the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay, where your group will be able to reconnect with each other and with God.

Sandy Cove can accommodate groups up to 1000 in our auditorium with 16 additional meeting areas for smaller groups, and 600 people for overnight events in our Chesapeake Lodge.

Single Day Events

At Sandy Cove, we are refocusing on our primary mission of ministering to overnight guests. We encourage you to consider growing your event into an overnight stay. If you contract a minimum of 10 rooms or 30 guests, we will provide an all-inclusive package rate plus complimentary meeting space for your group.

Weddings

So, you’re interested in having a wedding at Sandy Cove! Please review the following three questions and if you can answer "Yes" to each one, we may be a good fit for you!

1. Are you planning on having at least 30 guests stay overnight?
2. Are you able to schedule your wedding for a midweek (Monday – Thursday) date?
3. Do you have a professional wedding coordinator that can arrange your event details?

Since most of our weekends are currently booked and have an extensive waiting list, we do not feel that we would be able to properly service or accommodate most weekend weddings. For midweek wedding inquiries, if you are able to guarantee at least 30 overnight guests, Sandy Cove will provide a complimentary meeting room for your event. Your overnight guests would enjoy personal retreat accommodations which include lodging and breakfast, often as low as $99 per room midweek, for single or double occupancy. Guests coming in for the wedding and/or reception only would be charged a reduced day rate to include the use of the facilities and grounds, plus any meals if applicable.
