| The River |
God's passion is an endless river
White water running wild
In a restless rushing fury
To see souls reconciled.
It reaches wide across forever
It's dangerous and deep
And while some venture to the shoreline
Some even dare to leap
And The River rages, The River runs
All through the ages, Long after I'm gone
There's a truth I'm finding I can't ignore
Whether I dive in or stand on the shore
The River keeps rushing on.
All of those who ride the rapids
Have a message they must tell
There's a joy in being lost in something
That's bigger than yourself |
And though the current takes you places
Where you learn to lose control
If you think you're going under
He'll never let you go, never let you go
And The River rages, The River runs
All through the ages, Long after I'm gone
There's a truth I'm finding I can't ignore
Whether I dive in or stand on the shore
The River keeps rushing on.*

| Dr. Lori Salierno, speaker |
 |
Lori possesses an enthusiastic style for presenting truth in a winsome way. Past appearances at Sandy Cove Women’s Weekends have proven that Lori’s messages and style are unforgettable! She is the founder and CEO of Celebrate Life International, an organization dedicated to helping young people become leaders of integrity.
Dr. Salierno is co-creator of Teach One to Lead One®, a powerful character-based leadership training program for public schools and other public arenas that has caught the attention of the White House and state government. Measurable results from the T1L1 program show that kids leave gangs, consider higher education instead of dropping out, show respect to others, and – perhaps for the first time – embrace the Truth.
Lori speaks to audiences of thousands on topics addressing personal development, vision casting, and faith-based initiatives. An author of four books, her latest is “Real Solutions for Ordering Your Private Life.” In 2003, Lori completed her doctorate in Leadership Development.

| Comedy with Peggy Dawson as “Maybell Jerkwater” |
|
Raised in church all her life, she never recalls anyone telling her about the salvation message until she was a young adult. God uses her character, Maybell, to touch hearts with the gift of laughter. She says things that Peggy would like to say, but sometimes doesn't for fear of looking foolish. Maybell doesn't care if she looks foolish. She loves people. Everyone is her friend. She accepts people for who they are, and doesn't judge anyone. As you can see, we all could learn a lot from her. |
| Jill Baughan, breakout speaker |
|
Jill Baughan has written a book titled Born To Be Wild: Rediscover the Freedom of Fun. She helps men and women unleash the power of play in their own lives, insisting that she is not the only one with this "gift." Everyone is a fun person, she says—even if you're feeling depressed or overwhelmed or angry—mainly because the God who made you is also the Creator of fun.
Her message gives you a new ability to:
- fit more fun into your day
- restore adventurous dreams you may have postponed
- multiply joy by sharing your fun with others
- use moments of fun to heal in times of grief and loss
- renew your relationship with God by using fun as an act of worship.
