Sharing the Sandy Cove Story
Over and over again, we're hearing folks tell their stories of how when they pause long enough to hear God at Sandy Cove and talk about what He is saying with others in their lives, renewed strength and hope to go on is found.
Keep in mind, we don't think Sandy Cove is a magic pill for all of life's woes. What we have found though is that when folks disconnect from the pressures in life that are causing us all to get overloaded and connect with God and each other in a place like Sandy Cove - folks re-discover joy, peace and encouragement to go on.
If you have attended Sandy Cove at a recent event, you may have received a letter afterwards with a user name and password that allows you to submit your story. If you're looking for that form, click here.If you have not received a letter that allows you to share your story with us but you would like to do so, please contact us at info@sandycove.org and we'll be happy to provide you with the information you need.

Source of Joy
"Along with getting to serve the Lord through serving people my greatest joy in being there was spending time with Mark and Lori. They are a real source of joy to me!!!"

Summer Together 2007
A New Heart Given to Jesus
"We have been camping at Sandy Cove off and on since our daughter, Natalya, was 6 years old. She is now 15 years old. Even now as a teenager, she is excited about next summer (2008).
We camped this year at both Memorial Day and Labor Day Family Weekends. Our daughter Natalya brought her friend Neris from church on Memorial Day first. Both are sophomores in HS and are great friends. We believe that is when God first started working on Neris. When we invited her back on Labor Day, she jumped up and down,..she was that excited to go again! We also had another one of our church families camp in Pioneer. They had always wanted to come when they heard all the fun we had at Sandy Cove.
During the Illusion show on Labor Day Family weekend, Neris gave her heart to Jesus!!! Praise the Lord! She was baptised 2 weeks later in our church and we are thrilled. It can be so hard to reach teenagers with the Gospel in todays world. We truly believe it was due to the family fun atomsphere and the family teaching during both weekends that Neris camped with us that allowed her heart to be opened to Jesus.
We are already looking forward to next year. God bless you and your staff.

Grew much, loved much, laughed much
"We received our week at Sandy Cove as a gift from friends who won the trip in a drawing, but could not go. We are the worship leaders at our church, so what a blessing it was to have a vacation as a family where we felt truly rested and refreshed. We hardly saw our kids because they were having such a great time with their new friends (who they still IM). Dr. Hendricks and the Blackaby's were more than inspirations for us and much of what they said will live on in our hearts and minds for a lifetime. We grew much, loved much, laughed much (and ate much) and are forever grateful for the time we spent. Thank you for all you do. "

Single Mom and Son Are Blessed
"My time at Sandy Cove was such a blessing! I am a single parent so Club Cove was a welcome surprise. I was able to enjoy the sessions plus spend time in meditation. The prayer room is wonderful! Sandy Cove is a great ministry and I was so blessed to be able to visit. My son enjoyed Club Cove and was so excited to share what he was learning. Words can not express my gratitude for the scholarship fund making it possible for us to attend. I am telling everyone about my experience and pray it will not be my last. "

Operation Oasis
Family Blessing
"Operation Oasis was a tremendous blessing to us as a military family. The average person does not understand what deployment does to a family. The focus is on the soldier and rarely on the family that is left behind. No one can imagine the horror stories of what families endure: from people trying to take advantage of our vulnerable situation to the stress of separation and the amount of time required to adjust in reuniting. Quite often deployment ends in divorce or other forms of brokenness.
There is a hope which resides in Jesus Christ that our futures can be restored and renewed. Operation Oasis is a gift from God and the tools available to restore the family are priceless. We’ve never experienced an environment like this; vacationing with saints of like mind and spiritual beliefs.
Once again, thank you for allowing the Lord to use you all and this establishment; thank you for answering the call. We pray 1000-fold blessings and returns for each and every one of you."

Women's Weekend (May 2007)
Standing in the Gap
"Each year three friends and myself take the weekend in May to spend our time together in Sandy cove. Each year we come home saying this was the best weekend ever. Well, this year was no different. It truly was the best weekend ever. I was challenged beyond what I ever could imagine. The first evening with Donna Partow telling us to throw away our trivial prayer lists and begin to "stand in the gap" to set the tone for a new thinking in my life. My prayer life has changed and I am learning how to "stand in the gap" for life changing situations. I was challenged to have a burning desire to be used by Jesus in any way He can while we still have time here on earth. That desire has blossomed into some areas that I did not think were possible. I am so thankful for these weekends where God can meet me right where I am at. Thank you Sandy Cove. "
