Cathy was born and brought up in the Netherlands where she - as a teenager - accepted Christ as her Savior. She came to the United States at the age of 20 where she pursued a nursing career though she is now retired. During her nurses' training she departed from the Lord's will and ways for about 14 years which resulted in drug addiction, alcoholism and an aimless existence.

Through God's marvelous grace He restored her soul as the words of Psalm 51 became a reality in her life. She now seeks to draw men, women and children to Christ through her black-light chalk-art ministry. Special lighting reveals a previously hidden picture that makes her fine artwork seem to come alive.

Kathy is an exuberant speaker and musician from Levittown, PA who has developed a fun and healthy way to Praise Him with the Dance! This activity is for those who'd love to do some inspirational movin' but don't know how. Refresh your mind and body; it's fun and easy for beginners - remedial praise dance! Ecclesiastes 3 says there's a time to dance, and this is it!!

"God has been working on me for a long time... I never imagined life could be so rich, that the loneliness could actually go away, that I could sleep at night without drinking, that I could have peace in my heart and learn how to forgive, that I could desire abstinence over unmarried intimacy; these are the absolutely revolutionary things God has done to me.

During the day I still work in nursing homes, utilizing music therapy in one-on-one room visits. I often write about the lives of these people who constantly minister to me.

My personal mission statement is Luke 8:39: "Return home and tell how much God has done for you." So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him... (NIV)."

Susan will be speaking on: "Small Car, Big God: Songs and Stories of the Journey of Life"
The Bible is full of ordinary people whose lives were forever changed by God. This very same God touches the little lives of His children every day, in profound and personal ways, and we are never the same again.... come celebrate the journey!
