1. Everyone Needs Encouragement
   
Walt gave a stirring message about how important encouragement is in our lives. It’s essential that we receive it and even more essential that we give it. You’ll discover four things that hinder us from encouraging others.


2. Encouragement Through Giving
   
Walt gets into the "How To" of encouragement and stresses that giving what we have to others is one way to be encouraging. Also, we need to actively look for people to encourage. In his words: "Get your antennas up" and look for people who need encouragement. Pay attention!


3. Encouragement Through Words
   
Another "How To" message - using words to encourage others. Walt contrasted three different kinds of words we use when talking to others… NOTHING words, NEGATIVE words, NICE words… and gave examples of their impact. Encouragement with words should be intentional and never withheld.


4. Encouragement Through Doing
   
This final "How To" message related to encouragement through doing. Encouragers say YES. Encouragers show up, follow up, deliver, sacrifice and do what they say they will do.
