The Marsh, A Day Camp at Sandy Cove offers fun, challenge, excitement, and opportunities for learning and spiritual growth in an environment designed specifically for kids. With a ratio of one staff member for every six campers, we will get to know your child personally.
- Our programs are designed for boys and girls ages 6 to 14.
- The Marsh will operate 9 weeks in 2009, June 22 to August 21.
- Each five day session is a great value at only $185. This includes lunch, snacks, Wednesday Adventures (special guests) or Expeditions (day trips) and our Thursday "Late Night" for campers ages 9-14. Special programs may cost extra, see below.
- Free extended care for multi-week campers! (4-week minimum per camper required)

Our staff work hard to ensure that every day is filled with fun at The Marsh. Daily Bible studies, weekly themes, day trips, special guests, dress up days, talent shows, special meals, unique games and creative activities make each week exciting for campers of all ages. We hire young Christian men and women who truly desire to work at The Marsh and have strengths and abilities that allow them to be effective leaders for your children.

What Exactly Is The MARSH?
Your child's exciting journey of exploration will take place in North East, Maryland at Sandy Cove Ministries. Here at The Marsh, boys and girls ages 6-14 are grouped by age for a dynamic, fun-filled week in our non-profit, non-denominational Christian day camp. In a child's eyes, The Marsh is a place where every day is filled with making new friends, learning about God's amazing love, discovering new interests and playing until they are worn out!
From thrilling activities to creative adventures, Bible teaching to unique games, campers are sure to have a blast and grow in their relationship with Christ! Our staff will provide instruction, supervision and encouragement in a Christ-centered fashion; and with a ratio of one staff member for every six children, we'll get to know your child personally!
Daily Creative Learning & Fun-filled Adventure!
Every day at The Marsh is filled with excitement! Weekly Adventures (special guests) or Expeditions (day trips), dress up days, unique games and creative activities make each week exciting for campers of all ages. But that's not all…
Modest swimsuits are required for adults and children (one-piece for girls of all age, baggy shorts for men and boys).

EXTENDED CARE Child care is available from 7-9 am and from 4-6 pm if your schedule does not allow for arrival and pick up during regular camp hours. Pre-registration is required.

Thursday:"Late Night at The Marsh!" Each Thursday, campers ages 9 and older will have an opportunity to stay late at The Marsh. Your child will have a great time helping prepare Marsh Stew, playing fun games and hitting the pool for an evening swim. Campers must be picked up at 9:00 pm. Oceans of Fun - A Wet & Wild Adventure
Swim! Splash! Play! It's Wet & Wild Week with an under the sea twist! Wednesday Adventure: Big Splash day at The Marsh! For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.
Special Program: Junior Outdoor Adventure Camp
Your days will be filled with activities such as outdoor cooking, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking and more! Additional $25 fee. Ages 10-11 only.

Once Upon an Adventure
Heroes, princesses, monsters and more! Fairy tales come to life in ways you've never imagined! Wednesday Expedition: Day trip to the Riley Family Farm for fun and games and make your own applesauce. For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.July 13 to July 17

Lost Worlds Adventure
Follow the clues through this ancient land and see if you can solve the mysteries that lie within! Wednesday Expedition: Day trip to Cherry Crest Farm and the Amazing Maize Maze. For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.
Special Program: Drama Camp
If you think that life is a stage, then this is the camp for you! Develop your performance skills, create costumes and present a short play at the end of the week. Additional $25 fee. Ages 9-14 only.

Marsh Madness Adventure
It's down-side up and back to front in this week of fun, games and surprises! Get ready for a week like no other! Wednesday Expedition: Day trip to Christiana Skating Center. For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.
Special Program: Craft Camp for Boys and Girls
Develop new skills and work on special projects during this camp just for those with a creative side. Additional $25 fee. Ages 9-12 only.

Pirate Adventure
Set sail with us on a high seas adventure! There's mayhem to be made and treasure to be found! Wednesday Adventure: Mad Science comes to The Marsh. For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.
August 3 to August 7
Time Warp Adventure
Climb aboard the time machine and travel with us through the time! Who knows what wild adventures are in store this week? Wednesday Adventure: Cosmic Adventures Traveling Planetarium comes to The Marsh. For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.
August 10 to August 14Race Around the Globe
Grab your passport and join us for a whirlwind race around the globe! From North to South and East to West, we promise a world of fun! Wednesday Expedition: Day trip to Blue Hen Lanes. For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.August 17 to August 21
Wipe Out!
It's a week of wet & wild fun with games and competitions you'll be sure to love! Wednesday Expedition: Day trip to The Pond Ice Arena. For boys and girls ages 6 to 14.

EXTENDED CARE
Child care is available from 7-9 am and from 4-6 pm if your schedule does not allow for arrival and pick up during regular camp hours. Register for four weeks or more per child and receive extended care for free! Pre-registration is required.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Simply click here and complete the online registration form.
- Pay a $50 registration deposit per week per child online. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted.
- Upon registering, you will receive by email:
- a health history which you must complete and bring with you to camp
- a parent handbook
- Payment in full is due by June 1, 2009. You can sign up for automatic payment on the due date when you register online.
- Registrations made after June 1 must be paid in full at time of registration.
If you cannot attend the week for which you are registered, please notify The Marsh immediately. All camp fees are fully refundable and transferable up to four weeks before your child is scheduled to arrive at The Marsh. Cancellations after that time will not receive a refund of camp fees, nor a transfer to another week.
