Mark P. Fisher
On January 1st, 2006 Mark P. Fisher became Sandy Cove Ministries 5th President & Head Innovation Coach.
Affectionately referred to as "FISH", Mark served as Vice President of Forest Home Ministries for nearly eight years. Forest Home operates seven distinct Christian camps in Southern California. Mark also led the Men's Ministry at Forest Home. He is a speaker, author and discipler of men. As a husband of one and father of five, his passion, from personal experience, is to become a Christ-like husband, father and man - while inviting others to join him on the same journey.
Mark holds a double degree in Bible and Communications from Cedarville University and Word of Life Bible Institute. He has been a leader in Christian camping since 1981 serving as a camp counselor and program director at Word of Life and in various volunteer roles with Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA) and in executive roles at Sandy Cove Ministries from 1991-1996 and at Glorieta Conference Center outside of Santa Fe, NM. In addition, Mark is an ordained minister of the gospel and has been actively involved in men's accountability groups and personal discipleship through Life Partners Ministries.
Mark and his wife Lori are raising five very active children ages 7-17. Lori is homeschooling their two youngest while the three older ones are growing in academics and leadership at Elkton Christian Academy. Mark has enjoyed coaching his older boy's football team, team-teaching Sunday school with his wife, acting and directing in church dramas, playing at amusement parks with his kids and hacking little white balls on beautiful grass. In addition, he remains an avid Washington Redskins fan, no matter where his address may be.
Mark has authored daily devotionals and over 50 articles on spiritual insights, business practices and restaurant reviews as well as three full length training DVD's.
