Give your Valentine the gift of time…a romantic weekend to focus on each other and your marriage!
Regardless of how long you have been married, there are always challenges within marriage. Each stage or season of marriage, from newlywed to empty nester and beyond, has specific issues and opportunities that come with it. This weekend we’ll identify what those seasons are, what challenges are inherent in each, and ways to work together to handle the issues so that instead of things coming back to bite you later, you and your spouse can enjoy the seasons for all they are worth!
Highlighting the weekend will be a special Saturday evening banquet and concert with the Andy Allen! |

A Christian recording artist, songwriter and worship leader, Andy Allen's music ministry is reaching the hearts and lives of people around the world. Genuine praise, intimate worship and honest music that will touch your soul - only a few of the ways to describe the heart of this artist. Since the northern California native first left his "day job" more than seven years ago to pursue his dream and calling into full-time music, a heart of worship and encouragement have been the mark of his ministry. Involved in worship ministry for 17 years, God has called Andy Allen to minister to the body of Christ at large both as a recording artist and as a traveling worship leader, throughout the US.
Andy & Pam have 5 kids and live in Phoenix, AZ. They tour and work with churches – leading worship concerts and sharing music in church services, along with teaching their “Called to Worship” workshops and training worship teams.

| Speakers: Bruce and Karen McCracken and House on the Rock Family Ministries |

Founded by Bruce in 1988, House on the Rock Family Ministries exists to help build strong marriages and families on biblical guidelines: "Families built on the 'Rock' today will stand the storms of tomorrow." Bruce has his Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and served at Lancaster Bible College as the Chair of the Christian Education Department for 16 years, and as the Dean of Undergraduate Education for 6 years. Karen holds a masters degree and teaches Physical Education at a local elementary school. They have two adult sons and are active in their local church. They have celebrated their 32nd anniversary.

| Sessions |
• Young Love
The first season of our marriage is foundational to our life together as husband and wife. This season offers us six challenges to conquer … if we do we move on well … if we don’t these failures will linger on into future seasons. Can the two of us become one? We need to learn how to fight and how to love. We need to leave some baggage behind. We need to make right choices. How do we start building our spiritual lives together?
• Realistic Love
In the second season of marriage the rose colored glasses fall off and reality strikes. Four new challenges usually appear in this season. Are we willing to stay committed? Can we re-adjust our expectations? Are we really ready to have children? And how do we protect our relationship from the demands of parenting?
• Comfortable Love
By now our marriage relationship feels like our favorite shoe … it’s comfortable. Not too hot not too cold … what’s that verse about “lukewarm?” The challenges keep coming. In this season there are 7 … How do we heat things up again? Can we negotiate the hard times of parenting our teens and our parents? How do we handle the losses that come to us in this season of life? Who are we? Can we forgive all of the mistakes and missteps? Can we shake off those haunting “it’s now or never” thoughts?
• Renewing and Transcending Love
We’re in the final season of our marriage … and we still have to clear a few more hurtles. We want to prepare for the changes that retirement will bring. We need to continue to pursue intimacy. We want to accept our one and only life together and prepare to grieve the losses of youth, our parents, our children and health. It’s time to develop a transcendent perspective!
