Pastor Mark Gungor has some practical and insightful information to help improve our marriages, and he’ll
make you laugh while you are learning it! (And don’t worry guys – this is the most “man friendly” marriage
seminar you can imagine!)
This weekend, Nate and Evelyn Ransil (on staff at Sandy Cove and also certified Video Presenters with Laugh
Your Way) will facilitate the full “Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage” seminar by Mark Gungor. Together
we’ll view the video sessions “Tale of Two Brains,” “The #1 Key to Incredible Sex,” and “How to Stay Married
and Not Kill Anybody,” as well as a live presentation called “Why Does He/She Do That?” We will introduce a
tool called the Flag Page that helps answer that question, and provide Flag Pages for each couple to take home
and use! This whole weekend is designed to help you get it right, get along, have fun, and achieve a successful
marriage.
So whether it’s time for a tune up, or an overhaul, let’s get together and spend some time focused on making
our marriages all God wants them to be!
Nate and Evelyn met while wandering around in the woods in 1993, and have been married for 16 years. Since
2003 Nate has worked on the Program team at Sandy Cove, and Evelyn assists in the Marketing department.
In 2010 they trained with Laugh Your Way America to become video presenters, which has allowed them to
facilitate marriage seminars in a variety of churches on the east coast. In their spare time, they enjoy working
on their house, reading, and reminding their two boys, Caleb and TJ, to practice their band instruments.
Worship Leader: Stephen Weaver
Stephen has been leading worship for nearly 20 years. Stephen has led worship for several conferences and special events. He was the worship pastor of a church in Nashville, TN and has led teams at other churches as well. Stephen is currently the Director of Program Ministries at Sandy Cove Ministries.
Concert Artist, Mark Cable
Mark Cable has been ministering full-time through music since 1981. His insightful everyday-life songs along
with his off the wall sense of humor have stirred audiences across the U. S. to laugh, to cry and to think about
the things in life that matter most. His 100 yearly engagements take him to churches and conference centers
throughout the Eastern United States. Over half of Mark's concerts are "Great Date Night" events for couples.
An accomplished acoustic guitarist and songwriter, Mark has released 18 CDs and has received radio airplay on
Christian stations across the U.S. His latest CD is entitled "Time To Spare." He and his wife, Dodi, live in York,
PA with their six children. Mark is a licensed minister of the Gospel and has served in the Men's Ministries,
AWANA, the Biblical Counseling/Discipleship ministries and as an elder at his home church, Grace Fellowship, in
York, PA. He helped start and has served as the huddle coach for the West York Area High School Fellowship of
Christian Athletes chapter. Mark is currently in his tenth year as 7th/8th grade boys basketball coach for West
York Area Middle School.
