By making a reservation with Sandy Cove Ministries and Conference Center, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Checks, Cash and Charge
- Sandy Cove will accept personal checks for payments or deposits on lodging and program reservations only if they are received 30 or more days in advance of the arrival date. (Please wait for confirmation of availability for your reservation before mailing your check as deposit.) Payment within the 30 day period must be made by cash, credit card, money order, travelers check or certified/cashiers check. Payments under $50 will be exempt from this rule.
- The Bookstore, Kalbach Welcome Center, Craft Shop, Marina and Galley will accept personal checks so long as the amount does not exceed $50.
- For all checks below the $50 amount, the following information MUST be placed on the check:
- Driver’s License #
- State where license was issued
- Expiration date of license
- Phone number
Day Reservations
- Full payment is due at the time the reservation is made.
- Cancellations may be made 72 hours or more prior to the event date with a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event date or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the payment made on the reservation.
Personal Retreat Reservations
- A credit card number must be given to reserve any Bed and Breakfast stay in the Chesapeake Lodge. Payment in full is due at the time of arrival. If you would like to pay by personal check, please send in the check at least two weeks prior to your arrival date, noting your reservation number on the check. No checks accepted at time of arrival.
- Cancellations may be made 48 hours or more prior to the guest's intended date of arrival with no penalty. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the intended arrival date or no-shows will result in the first night's charges being billed to the credit card number holding the reservation.
Sandy Cove Overnight Events
- A credit card number must be used to reserve any room in the Chesapeake Lodge. A deposit of $100.00 per room is due at the time the reservation is made.
- Full payment for the event is due 30 days prior to the scheduled event.
- Cancellations may be made 45 days or more prior to the scheduled event with a full refund. Reservations cancelled between 30 and 45 days prior to the scheduled event will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to the event will result in the forfeiture of all monies paid on the reservation.
Summer Together
If you need to CANCEL, here's how:
- Cancellation before May 1, 2008: your monies paid to date will be refunded LESS your deposit.
- Cancellation after May 1, 2008: forfeit your full payment…unless we or you can fill your space with another family.
- Non-payment of your balance when due may cause the cancellation of your reservation.
