As a guest in our campground, you are welcome to take advantage of all that Sandy Cove has to offer!If you and your family love camping in the summer, bring your tent or trailer and take part in our Summer Together program too!
Of course, participation in morning praise and worship, evening services, and seminars is included when you camp at Sandy Cove during the summer.
And Sandy Cove's ClubCove and CrossWalk programs for kids (ClubCove for infants through preteen, CrossWalk for teens) are also available during our Summer Together program and are included in all campground packages.

The Wilderness Campground is a wooded camping area located near the entrance of Sandy Cove and is approximately 1 mile from the main conference center. Sites vary in the Wilderness Campground and can accommodate tents, trailers, and motorhomes. All sites have fire rings and are available either with or without electricity. A centrally located bathhouse provides campers with restroom and shower facilities as well as a place to empty an RV's holding tank. The Wilderness Campground provides campers with a quiet and peaceful camping setting. Maximum occupancy: 8. A two-night minimum stay is required. Pioneer Campground
Campers desiring 2- or 3-point hookup should consider a site in the Pioneer Campground, which accommodates trailers and motor homes. A central bathhouse is available for campers needing restroom and shower facilities, and the Pioneer Campground also has fire rings. The main conference center, including the tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground is a comfortable walk from the campground. The camp pool, camp store, and laundry facilities are located at the entrance of the Pioneer Campground. Maximum occupancy: 8. A two-night minimum stay is required. Rustic Cabins
The rustic cabins, located in the Pioneer Campground, are air-conditioned cabins that sleep a maximum of 6 people and include a full bathroom. One room has a queen bed, one room has 2 sets of bunk beds. No linens, kitchen facilities nor housekeeping services are provided. Charcoal grill, fire ring and picnic table available on site. A two-night minimum stay is required.
Log Cabins
Log cabins are also available in the Pioneer Campground. Most measure 27' x 14'7", with a 6' porch. One handicap-accessible cabin is available. There is one set of bunkbeds in one room, a living area with a futon, a separate bedroom with a double bed and a loft with 2 single beds; each sleeps a maximum of 8 people and includes a full bathroom. Each has A/C and heat, and a kitchen unit with a refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner stove, microwave, sink and table with 4 chairs. No linens, kitchen supplies, nor housekeeping services are provided. Charcoal grill available on site. A two-night minimum stay is required.

Payment Policies
General Reservation Information

- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
- Kids 0-3 are always FREE!
- When possible, specific site requests are honored, but not guaranteed. Sandy Cove will assign exact sites/cabin to best suit the size of your family and camping unit.
Personal Retreat Payment Policies
- Payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance receive a full refund.
- There is no refund for cancellations made within 30 days of arrival.
Sandy Cove Event Payment Policies (not including Summer Together Weeks)
- When making a reservation for an event more than 6 months in advance, you must either pay in full at time of reservation or pay 50% at time of reservation, with the remaining 50% due 6 months prior to the event. Authorization for automatic payment at 6 months prior must be given at time of initial payment.
- When making reservations within 6 months of an event, full payment is due at time of reservation.
- Cancellations
- For cancellations 0 – 3 months prior to an event: No refunds or transfers
- For cancellations 3 or more months prior to an event: you may transfer 50% of what you have paid to another event. The other 50% is non-refundable.
- If you are not able to keep your reservation to come to a Sandy Cove event, you may find a replacement to take your spot, with no penalty. Please call and let us know the name of the substitute guest(s). The amount paid on the reservation will be applied/transferred to the new guest, not refunded. (Please settle finances directly with your replacement).
- At your request, we will try to re-sell a site/cabin by offering it to a guest on the wait list if applicable. If Sandy Cove is able to re-sell a site/cabin and find a replacement from our wait list, we will offer to transfer 50% of the monies paid to a future Sandy Cove event, if applicable. If no other event is possible, a 50% refund will be offered. We will retain the other 50% of monies paid as a non-refundable deposit.
Summer Family Vacation Payment Options and Cancellation Policies
- You may pay in full at time of reservation.
- You may 50% at time of reservation, with the balance due May 1, 2010.
- You may pay in equal monthly payments between time of reservation and May 1, 2010 as the final payment.
- Cancellation before May 1, 2010: your monies paid to date will be refunded LESS $100.
- Cancellation after May 1, 2010: forfeit your full payment…unless we or you can fill your space with another family.
- Non-payment of your balance when due may cause the cancellation of your reservation.
Family Max Pricing
If you have over 4 FAMILY** members in your room or on your site-they are FREE!The purpose of family max pricing is to provide affordability for parents with children through a simplified rate structure. We generally define "family" as related members living in the same household. Please remember, due to fire codes all housing options have a maximum occupancy.
