COUNSELOR
The majority of our staff are counselors. We hire 12 male & 12 female counselors each summer. A counselor must be at least 18 years old, demonstrate an active Christian life, and be teachable. Counselors are on the front lines of caring for our campers and providing a ministry impact. Call today for a full counselor job description and application, or download below.
ACTIVITY STAFF
Are you more suited to be an activity instructor? We need staff members that have the ability to teach English and Western Horseback Riding Lessons, Skateboarding and Mountain Boarding, Roller Hockey, Air Riflery, Archery, Outdoor Cooking/Outdoor Living Specialist, Crafts, Dance, Tennis, Photography, Video Editing, Pottery, and General Sports. Your responsibilities will include 6 teaching periods each day, as well as assisting with the evening programs.
TRIPPING COUNSELOR
Camp Sandy Cove's Tripping Program is an excellent way to spend the summer. Counselors must be at least 19 years old, demonstrate an active Christian life and possess skills in the area of camping, backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing. LEADERSHIP STAFF
Several positions are available within the role of Leadership at Camp Sandy Cove. These staff members must be at least 21 years old and have experience as a leader within a camp or similar setting. The various roles include: Program Director, Unit Directors, Activities Director, Tripping Program Director and Leadership Training Director. SUPPORT STAFF
We are always looking for good chefs, kitchen help, maintenance and grounds crew, office assistants, and registered nurses. Do you have this kind of experience? Are you interested? If so, please contact us today! We will be glad to send you an application and job description.
VIDEOGRAPHER
Each week of the summer we produce a camp video and take lots of pictures. Do you have the skills to be our videographer or photographer? Our videographer and photographer must be at least 18 years old. The videographer must have a driver's license and bring their own vehicle. It would be helpful if the photographer had his own camera equipment. Both of these individuals must demonstrate an active Christian life.
